Learn Jennifer’s techniques for making these expressive and
whimsical faces starting with a piece of flat knit fabric. These faces can be used on the Hand Puppets, made into brooches, or for your own one-of-a-kind dolls.

Learn Jennifer’s techniques for making 2-piece (profile) faces with fine knit fabric. These faces can be used on the Glamour Girls, Button Jesters, or your own uniquely designed dolls.

Making the Button Jester Doll
An 18″ tall poseable doll, the Button Jester can be hung on the wall or can sit since all body parts are from knit fabric. It’s easy to assemble and learn how to needle-sculpt 3-D faces, too.

Making the Kimono Lady Doll
The 14” tall Kimono Lady© is understated elegance. Her hair of black grosgrain ribbon recreates the headdress of the famous geisha. Her kimono can reflect the seasons or her mood. Her obi belt should be highly complementary to the kimono fabric. Small dark prints for the kimono are subtle and mature. Bright intense patterns are worn by young women. Her long, thin and flat silhouette makes her ideal for a narrow wall or standing in a duet.

Making a Glamour Girl Doll
You’ll create this lovely Glamour Girl using my pattern and your own unique piece of jewelry or necklace embellishment. She’s an 18″ tall poseable doll with a knit body. The first day you will learn to make a needle-sculpted 2-piece face and the body. The next day you’ll create her garments, hat and clothe her.

Making the Big Skirt Lady / Angel Doll
Create your very own 12” tall wall-hung feminine lady with (or without) her wings. A very simple doll for the beginner, she has metallic boucle hair, a fancy bodice, a sheer floating skirt and iridescent wings, and you’ll learn how to draw her face on UltraSuede.
