This new edition of feltmaking around the world is in glorious colour. I’m overwhelmed by the talent reflected there. Ellen Bakker has again published a compilation of artists’ images and work to inspire us all. My small addition is in the browns on page 148.
New book published by Ellen Bakker/Textile-link.com
Along with 159 artists from around the world and a huge diverse assembling of textile techniques, I am really honored to be one of the artists. My page includes five Pisces Women from 2010 to 2014.
I am honored that my work has been included in the recently published Lark Book, “500 HANDMADE DOLLS: Modern Explorations of the Human Form.” This is a real gem of a book and I am honored to be in such extremely talented company.
Lark Studio Series, a condensed version of the “500 Handmade Dolls,” also includes my self-portrait triptych. Published in 2011.
Jennifer Ackerman-Haywood visited with Jennifer Gould and wrote a wonderful story which was in the Sunday, December 2, 2007 issue of the Grand Rapids Press.
